The ingredients needed to make Cireng (Tapioca fritter) *Vegan:
  1. Take 250 gr tapioca starch
  2. Make ready 1 tsp salt
  3. Prepare 2 spring onions (chopped)
  4. Make ready 3 garlic cloves (chopped)
  5. Take 1 cup warm water
  6. Take Peanut sauce:
  7. Make ready 250 gr peanut (fried)
  8. Make ready 2 long red chilies
  9. Make ready 1 tsp salt
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp palm sugar
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  12. Get 1 red onion
  13. Prepare 3 garlic cloves
  14. Get Chili sauce (optional):
  15. Take 5 jalapenos
  16. Get 1/2 tsp salt
  17. Make ready 1/2 cup water

Check the rest in the same. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites till stiff but not dry. Drop a few large teaspoons of the tapioca mixture into the hot oil. Remove baked fritters from the deep-fryer and transfer to paper towels.

Instructions to make Cireng (Tapioca fritter) *Vegan:
  1. Mix tapioca starch, chopped spring onion, salt, and garlic, pour the warm water gradually until it become a dough.
  2. Preheat oil to fry, cut the dough in small sizes, press it a little bit, and fry them in hot oil turn the other side when theh become crispy. Take them out from the oil, put aside.
  3. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients except sweet soy sauce in a blender, blend them until smooth, add sweet soy sauce.
  4. Enjoy cireng with peanut sauce.
