  1. Prepare 2 portions Pasta
  2. Make ready 10 grams Butter
  3. Get 1 Soup stock cube
  4. Take 2 tsp Grated cheese
  5. Make ready 1 Black pepper
  6. Make ready 100 ml Milk
  7. Get 100 ml Heavy cream
  8. Make ready 3 to 4 slices Bacon
  9. Make ready 1 handful Shimeji mushrooms

Steps to make Pasta with Bacon, Shimeji Mushrooms and Cream Sauce:
  1. Add salt to a decent amount of hot water and cook the pasta. Remove the hard stem from the shimeji mushrooms and tear apart. Slice the bacon into 1cm strips.
  2. Add butter to a pan, and sauté the bacon and mushroom. Season with black pepper.
  3. When it's cooked, add 1/2 ladle of cooking water from the pasta. Break up and add a soup stock cube.
  4. Turn the heat down, and add milk and cream. When the edges start to bubble, add the cheese.
  5. Taste as you add black pepper. When you're satisfied with the taste, turn the heat off. Mix with cooked pasta and voila!
  6. Add sprinkles of coarsely ground pepper or drizzle on olive oil if you'd like!
