  6. Make ready 1/4 cup butter
  7. Make ready 1/4 cup corn starch
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp dried thyme
  9. Make ready 1/2 cup sour cream
  10. Take 1 cup shredded cheddar

Instructions to make Mushroom Swiss Burger Casserole:
  1. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with pam, preheat oven to 375°
  2. Brown beef in a large skillet, add mushrooms for last 5 min or so.
  3. In a large sauce pan, melt butter, add diced onion, and cook until transparent.
  4. Add corn starch, thyme, and chicken broth and cook until thickened.
  5. Add sour cream and shredded cheddar, combine.
  6. Put 1/2 of your potatoes in a 9x13 baking dish, cover with beef mixture, top with swiss cheese, put the rest of the potatoes on top, pour over your sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 45 min.
  7. Uncover, top with more swiss cheese and bread crumbs, bake for another 15 min.
