The ingredients needed to make Mushroom Masala:
  1. Prepare 400 grams roughly chopped white mushrooms
  2. Get 2 medium size finely chopped onions
  3. Take 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. Take 2 green chillies chopped
  6. Make ready 1 tbsp kasuri methi
  7. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  8. Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder
  9. Get 1 tsp garam masala
  10. Make ready 1 tsp cumin seeds
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp salt
  12. Take 1 bay leaf
  13. Make ready 1 cinnamon stick
  14. Take 2 tbsp canola oil/cooking oil
  15. Take 1.5 cups water
  16. Get 4-5 tbsp table cream

Instructions to make Mushroom Masala:
  1. In a wok take oil. After oil is hot add cumin till it crackles. Add bay leaf and cinnamon stick.
  2. Add onions and saute till translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  3. Now add crushed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
  4. Add in all the spices and cook for a minute. Furthermore add mushrooms and mix well.
  5. Add water, cover and cook until mushrooms are done.
  6. Add cream and mix well. Turn off the stove.
  7. Garnish with kasuri methi and serve hot with rotis.
