  1. Prepare 3 deseeded red chili pepper or any pepper
  2. Get 1 medium grated carrot
  3. Get 2 large onion
  4. Make ready 1/2 cup coconut milk
  5. Get 2 calamari/squid cut into rings
  6. Get GARNISH
  7. Get 1 coriander or cilantro
  8. Take 1 cucumber
  9. Take SPICY SAUCE
  10. Prepare 2 tbsp oil
  11. Get 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  12. Make ready 2 tsp sugar
  13. Make ready 5 tbsp please refer to my LG SPICY SAUCE ( SAMBAL )
  14. Take WRAP OR BAKING TRAY OPTIONAL
  15. Get 1 large aluminium foil
  16. Prepare 1 large banana leaf optional

Instructions to make Baked Spicy Calamari / Squid (BANANA LEAF WRAP ):
  1. SPICY SAUCE
  2. in pan with oil saute spicy sauce ( sambal ) then add onion and red chili pepper for half a minute
  3. add light soy sauce and sugar and mix well for another half a minute
  4. BANANA WRAP
  5. with banana leaf on aluminium foil put calamari and grated carrot
  6. top cooked spicy sauce then top coconut milk
  7. wrap up and bake at 220 C for 20 minute
  8. serve top garnish
