  2. Take 1/2 ★Sake
  3. Prepare 1200 ml ★Dashi stock
  4. Get 1 knob ☆Thinly sliced ginger

  6. Take 10 cm Daikon radish
  7. Make ready 1/2 Carrot
  8. Take 1 Konnyaku
  9. Make ready 3 tbsp Miso
  10. Get 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  11. Get 2 tsp Mirin
  12. Prepare 1 Shichimi spice
  13. Get 1 Green onion or Japanese leek

Steps to make Simmered Pork Offal:
  1. Boil the offal once, then dump out the water. Wash and cut the larger pieces into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Put Step 1 and the ★ ingredients into a pot and turn on the heat. Once it comes to a boil, add the ☆ ingredients and simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
  3. Cut the daikon into 8 mm pieces, the carrot into 5 mm pieces. Cut the konnyaku into thin, rectangles and lightly boil to remove the astringent taste.
  4. Add Step 3 to the pot from Step 2 and simmer until the vegetables have become tender (about 20-30 minutes). Remove the Japanese leek and the ginger.
  5. Lastly, flavor with the miso, soy sauce, and mirin.
