  1. Get 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup almond powder
  3. Take 1.5 cup all purpose flour
  4. Get 1/2 cup salted butter
  5. Prepare 1 egg
  6. Make ready 1 tsp baking powder
  7. Get 1 tsp vanilla powder
  8. Get As required Mixed fruit jam

Instructions to make Buttery Linzer cookies:
  1. In a bowl add room temperature butter and beat it till it become creamy then add sugar and beat again.
  2. Now add vanilla essence and egg and beat it again till it becomes fluffy.
  3. Now add almond powder and flour mix and combine it. Don't need to knead only fold it until it will take a form of a ball. Now wrap it in a cling film and keep it in a freezer for 30 mins.
  4. After 30 mins dust some flour on the kitchen platform and flatten the dough with a rolling pin. Cut into desired shape with cookie cutter and place cookies in a baking tray. Bake for 10 min in a preheated oven on 220c. Let the cookies cool. Then fill the cookies with jam and you can so make sandwiches by putting jam in between and by bringing the cookies together. Store it in an airtight container for about 2-3 weeks. Enjoy.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
