The ingredients needed to make Italian Stuffed Shells:
  1. Prepare 1/2 pound ground beef
  2. Prepare 1/2 pound ground Italian sausage
  3. Prepare 20-22 jumbo shells
  4. Get 24 ounce garlic & herb spaghetti sauce
  5. Get 1 small white onion, diced
  6. Prepare 3 garlic cloves, minced
  7. Get 4 oz cream cheese
  8. Prepare 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  9. Get 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  10. Get to taste salt & pepper
  11. Take 1/2 tablespoon italian seasoning
  12. Take 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  13. Prepare parsley for garnish

Instructions to make Italian Stuffed Shells:
  1. Boil a large pot of water and add in shells (there will probably be shells left over in the box) make sure to cook them about 1 minute less than instructed on the box. Drain & let cool
  2. In a large skillet add Italian sausage, ground beef, garlic, & onion. Once meat is done, drain grease & return to skillet on low.
  3. Add in all seasonings, all the cheese, & a few spoonfuls of spaghetti sauce. Stir & let cheese melt
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F & butter the bottom of a 9x13in baking dish. Spread spaghetti sauce in the dish (just enough to cover the bottom)
  5. Gently stuff each shell with the cheesy filling. Make sure to not over stuff or they might break while baking. Line side by side until baking dish is filled up
  6. Top with remaining spaghetti sauce & more cheese, if desired.
  7. Cover loosely with aluminum foil & bake for 30 mins. Then remove foil & bake for 10 more minutes.
  8. Sprinkle on parsley & enjoy!!
